Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using SharpClass you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older, or have verified parental consent if under 13. The service is designed for SA high school learners (Grades 8–12).
3. Subscriptions, trial & billing
SharpClass has a free tier with limited daily use. New accounts start with a 30-day Pro trial. When the trial ends you can keep using the free tier, or subscribe to:
- Pro — R9.99/month or R99/year (individual).
- Family — R99.99/month or R599.99/year.
Subscriptions are charged in ZAR, auto-renew until you cancel, and can be cancelled at any time — on the web via your account, or on iOS via your Apple ID subscription settings. Prices may change with reasonable notice. Downgrading never deletes your progress.
4. Acceptable use
- No cheating: don't use bots or scripts to inflate XP or game the leaderboard.
- No abuse: don't post offensive display names or school names.
- No reverse-engineering, scraping, or commercial reuse without written permission.
- Educational fair use only.
We reserve the right to remove leaderboard entries or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
5. AI-generated content
Quiz questions and tutor responses are generated by AI. They are intended as study aids, not as a replacement for your teacher, textbook, or official CAPS material. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee it. Always cross-check with your teacher for assessments.
6. Intellectual property
The brand, design, and code of SharpClass are owned by Emmanqubic. CAPS curriculum names are referenced for educational fair use. You retain ownership of any content you submit.
7. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy. Your sign-in data and progress are processed under POPIA.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time by emailing info@emmanqubic.co.za. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. No warranty / Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute must be brought in South African courts.
